Directions
Traveling by Road - Take the A465 North from Abergavenny which will take you through the village of Longtown (past the Crown Pub) and then Hopes village shop on your right hand side. Keep following this road and Great Trelandon Farm is about a mile up the road on the right hand side. Please note if you get to Michaelchurch Escaly you have gone to far and need to turn round.
From London - We are about a 3 hour drive from London (160 miles) From Bristol - We are about 1 hours drive from Bristol (60 miles) FromBirmingham - We are about a 2 hours drive (80 miles)
From the North - Follow the M5 to junction 8 and then join the M50 for South Wales. Alternatively if you prefer you can leave the M5 at junction 7 and follow local roads through Herefordshire for some stunning countryside scenery.
From the South (and London) - Follow the A4 out of London or Bristol. At junction 24, take the A48/A449 exit toNewport /Monmouth and join the A40 followed by the A465
Travelling by Rail - The closest railway station is Abergavenny which is about 6 miles away from the Glamping site. From most locations throughout the UK you would need to change trains in either Hereford or Newport. Once in Abergavenny it is possible to take a taxi (Abergavenny Taxis - 01873 854140) It is also possible to travel by taxi from Hereford train station as well although it is a bit further away.
Travelling by Bus - There is not much in the way of public transport out in the Golden Valley. However there is a bus (the B17) that leaves Longtown for Hay on Wye on Sundays only. Google B17 Longtown Bus for the latest timetable information
Travelling by Bike - Is possible and you could take a train to Abergavenny and then a 6 mile cycle from there to the glamping site. Just be aware that the terrain is quite hilly so make sure you are up to it!
